Carved Dance, cross - art performance, deals with the relationship between artist and medium, following through dance a sculptor's process in creating new sculptural forms.
The contrast between sculpture and dance is obvious. Yet they have many things in common: similar to modelling we can add and modify movements; like in carving, we can remove them; and similar to welding we can meld all elements - visual, physical and musical - together.
